In response to the ever-changing Tourism Market and physical distancing requirements, we have restructured our business, accelerated a number of projects and employed more locals. Furthermore, a KOE first, we will remain open over the 2020/21 summer Wet Season with some of our Products!
Horse Riding Experiences
Following popular demand, Katherine Outback Experience has launched Group and Private Horse Riding Experiences including:
- Half Hour Horse Riding Experiences
- One Hour Horse Riding Experiences
- Tailored Horse Riding Experiences.
The response from Territorians has far exceeded our expectations and we are working tirelessly to scale-up our capacity to host more Horse Riding Experiences by employing and training more locals and acquiring more horses.

Live Music Event Saturday 8 August 2020
We are excited to host our first Live Music Event under the Stars for 2020 on Saturday 8 August with Golden Guitar winner Matt Scullion, ARIA Chart topper Allison Forbes and our very own national award winner Tom Curtain.
This Event can be bookable directly through Katherine Outback Experience on Eventbrite or by using the NT Tourism Voucher individually or as part of one of our Packages (explained further below).

Packages
Following the release of the NT Tourism Vouchers, Katherine Outback Experience has developed a number of packages to assist Territorians with planning their Top End getaways and adventures.
A summary of available packages is as follows:
- Package 1: Live Music on 8 August and Outback Show at an available date of your choice. We will throw in our famous KOE Cheese Platter on the night of the concert.
- Package 2: Live Music Event on 8 August + Outback Show and Half Hour Horse Group Riding at an available date of your choice. Like Package 1, we will throw in a Cheese Platter on the night of the Live Music Event.
- Package 3: Outback Show and Half Hour Horse Riding Experience at an available date of your choice. Receive a $5 discount per person!
- Package 4: Outback Show and One Hour Horse Riding Experience at an available date of your choice. Receive a $5 discount per person!
- Package 5: Live Music on 8 August together with an Outback Show and One Hour Horse Riding Experience at an available date of your choice. We will throw in our famous KOE Cheese Platter on the night of the concert.
