Tom Curtain and Katherine Outback Experience – real stories from the outback
Raised on a cattle farm in Kumbia, QLD, Tom found his voice working on stations in the Northern Territory. His passion for music and animals led to the creation of Katherine Outback Experience, a show that shares the real stories of life on the land through horses, dogs and original songs.
With Here’s To You, Tom continues this mission — blending stories from the road with the spirit of rural communities who inspire him every day.

Here’s To You – the Single – Featuring Laura Frank
The title track, Here’s To You, is a thank you to hardworking Australians everywhere. Featuring powerhouse vocals from Laura Frank, the song shines a light on determination and never giving up.
Good Life
Good Life sharing the same name as Tom’s 2024-2025 Tour, was released as a single in July 2024. Good Life was inspired by a bloke Tom met near Geelong who dreamed of swapping long commutes for sunsets and cattle musters, this track is a reminder of what actually makes up a good life.
Be Kind
Be Kind is a heartfelt anthem co-written with Matt Scullion and Garth Porter, inspired by Tom’s role as an ambassador for Dolly’s Dream. The amazing Ashleigh Dallas, Lyn Bowtell and Matt Scullion all feature on the track to share a powerful message for young people: “In a world where you can be anything, be kind.”
Top End Tough
Released as a single in April this year, Top End Tough is a tribute to the resilience of people in the Top End, featuring a line-up of artists from Cairns to the Kimberley, including Sara Storer, Melanie Gray, David Garnham and Chris Matthews. Top End Tough was co-written with and produced by Luke O’Shea.
Bucket Baby
Co written and produced by Luke O’Shea, Bucket Baby was released in March 2025 and tells the extraordinary true story of Ross Fraser, born in the remote Kimberley and thought to be stillborn before proving everyone wrong. A song of survival, country and connection.
Here’s To You Tour – taking the show on the road
The Here’s To You Tour is where the songs truly come alive. Tom, Laura Frank, Chris Matthews, Melanie Gray, the Katherine Outback Experience team, and their animals will once again hit the road to bring an unforgettable mix of live music, horsemanship, and bush humour to regional and remote communities.
