Harry Hookey, Innocent Eve and Martin Oakes Live in Concert at Katherine Outback Experience
Katherine Outback Experience is excited to welcome back the amazing Harry Hookey together with Innocent Eve and Martin Oakes for an evening of live music under the stars on Saturday 7 July 2018!
This is our biggest line-up yet!
This will be the third time Harry Hookey has performed at Katherine Outback Experience. Guests love his folky sound with clear influences of Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Joni Mitchell. The Gippsland local gave up the country for the city, and life as a would-be lawyer for life as a roaming musician.
This will be the first time Innocent Eve has performed at Katherine Outback Experience. With poetic lyrics, powerful vocals and perfect harmonies this duo is turning heads across Australia and abroad. They’ve graced stages at some of our most iconic festivals including Tamworth CMF, Gympie Muster and the Birdsville Big Red Bash. From Northern QLD at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music, down to the Latrobe Valley in Victoria for the Glenmaggie CMF, then on the high seas onboard Cruisin’ Country. Innocent Eve has also headed to the US to perform at the Bluebird Café in Nashville, Tennessee representing Australia in the Australian Showcase during Americanafest.
Closing out the line-up for our July event is Martin Oakes – the very man who gave Tom Curtain his first guitar and taught him three chords.  Martin’s songwriting is a combination of comical tunes and stories from his experiences of living and working on the land. Martin’s humble nature captures the attention of his audience as he shares stories about his songs. Martin opened for Tom during his three week tour through NSW and QLD earlier this year.
The event would not be complete without a few added surprises!
